Long before what has become a successful tenure at Direct Energy, experienced attorney and executive Bray Dohrwardt was an associate at the law firm of Oppenheimer, Wolff & Donnelly, LLP (now Fox Rothschild). Fresh out of law school, Dohrwardt joined the Minnesota-based firm as attorney within the Business Litigation and Administrative Law Sections.

As Associate Attorney with Oppenheimer, Wolff & Donnelly from 2001 to 2004, Bray Dohrwardt was routinely provided work generally reserved for more senior attorneys; the result of having demonstrated a solid, determined work ethic, as well as a strong aptitude and passion for the law and for client representation. His workload often consisted of participating in administrative and court hearings, trials, arbitrations and appeals, oral arguments and motion practice, legal strategy sessions and more.

During his tenure with the Firm, Dohrwardt enjoyed many notable opportunities, including the chance to serve on state, regional and national defense teams representing medical device manufacturers facing numerous product liability claims.
